It usually takes 2 days to receive a game after Gamefly sends me a confirmation email. They also ship out new games the day before they're released which means I usually have a new release the day after it hits stores. An example I use is Uncharted 3.

If you don't want to become a paying GameFly member, please cancel prior to the end of your free trial. To cancel your GameFly membership at any time, go to your Account and select Cancel My Membership, located at the bottom-right of the page.

A quick browse of the GameFly streaming website won't give you much information here, but the company isn't offering a Netflix style pricing model. Instead of a fixed monthly fee you'll instead be paying for a “bundle” of games for a fixed price, which starts at $7 a month.

How does the free trial work?

GameFly’s free trial allows you to test out our service for 30 days in order to experience the vast selection of games and movies we have to offer.

If you’re interested in signing up for a free trial, just navigate to our website and complete the registration process, or click here: Sign Up. We require a valid credit or debit card for all GameFly memberships, including the free trials.

As a part of the registration process, a temporary authorization is performed against your card. The authorization will clear in 3 to 5 business days, depending on your financial institution. Don’t worry – we do not receive any funds from this process.

Once the registration is complete and your account is activated, make sure to add at least 10 released titles to your Q. Some titles are in high demand and not as readily available, so having this minimum amount of selections in your Q ensures that you get one of the items you’re interested in as fast as possible. You’ll receive an email when the first available title is shipped. Once you receive it, all you have to do is enjoy!

When the trial period ends, your card will be automatically billed at the monthly membership rate for our 1-game plan, plus any applicable sales tax. If you don’t want to become a paying GameFly member, please cancel prior to the end of your free trial.

To cancel your GameFly membership at any time, go to your Account and select Cancel My Membership, located at the bottom-right of the page. If you do cancel, please make sure to promptly return any games or movies you have out to avoid a fee.
